Some random thoughts on the Magic of Words
Words are just like food. And who doesn’t love food! Words can make you feel happy. You can sample new ones, or stick with some old favourites. You can mix them up and make a conversation.
You can even spit them out if you get really angry about something.
Words are also a bit like money. You can use them to ask for something you really really want. Or you can save them up and then use lots all in one go.

(You can even write backwards)
Words joined up and made into stories can be so much fun. They can take you anywhere on the planet, or out into the infinite universe, stretching the boundaries of imagination. They can take you underground, or into the ocean. You can sprint across foreign lands, without even leaving the comfort of your beanbag. You can make new friends. Writing Stories can turn you into a jungle explorer, a pop star or just a very very clever person. You can be a fantastic hero or you can be the evilest of villains. The choice is yours.
You can make words rhyme, it’s not a crime.
You can make them sing, la di la doh
You can make them scare you woahhhhhhhhhhhhh
You can make them tickle you with laughter he he he.
Words can be short like little old ‘i’ or really BIG like ENORMOUS
Or very long like - supercalifragilisticexpialidocious ( from Mary Poppins)
Worlds are limited only by your vocabulary and your imagination.
Read, read, read and both of these will grow and grow and grow.
